Isabella & Olivia

I first met these girls when they were babies and their mom, Michele, was one of my favorite customers at Baby Gap.  Fast forward several years and our daughters are in the same kindergarten class!  I have had the pleasure of watching them grow up into sweet young ladies.  They are just a joy to be around, and fascinating to witness the bond they have as twins.  Isabella and Olivia were up for anything.  We had oodles of fun playing with the paper parasol.  Thanks girls!  I had a great time and hope Mom and Dad enjoy your photos!

Lance, Sarah, & the Kiddos

This was a photo shoot Sarah and I had been planning for quite some time.  I was so excited when it finally came to fruition!  They are preparing for the adoption of a new family member:  a daughter for them, and a sister for their children.  We knew this special moment in their lives would be a great a opportunity.  A family photo to share with their future-daughter's caregivers.  I cannot imagine a more deserving family.  They have so much love and tenderness to share.  What a fortunate little girl their soon-to-be daughter is.  I so excited to meet her and photograph them all as a family of six!  Thank you again for braving the cold and for such a fun shoot!

Tana

We had a great time photographing Tana's 18 month photos.  It is amazing how much wee ones change in only a year!  She loved playing in the flowers and exploring the park which made the photoshoot a total breeze!  And with her blond hair and blue eyes the camera just loves her.  Tana got her photogenic looks from her mother :)!  Thanks for being such a wonderful model Miss Tana!

The Boys

Steve booked a shoot with me for him and his two boys as a Mother's Day gift to his lovely wife.  So sweet and thoughtful! Steven and Chris are true boys:   full of fun and spunk!  I had a lot of fun playing with them and capturing all their unique quirks.  I felt so honored that Steve's wife, Liz displayed the photos from our shoot throughout the house.  Thanks again Steve, Steven, and Chris!  It was a lot of fun shooting with you all!

My favorite is this last one.  There is a story behind it.  When Steve and I had a consultation about what he wanted to accomplish in the photo shoot I told him to bring bribery treats.  They are always a great way to either re-energize the kids or can be used as a reward for all of their patience during the photo shoot (this is probably why the cupcake photoshoots are the easiest!)  Halfway through the shoot we took a break so the boys could eat some of their snacks.  Steven had finished his while Chris continued to nibble away.  The sly big brother he is, Steven snuggled up to Chris and nonchalantly put his hand into his brother's bag of Goldfish.  It was hysterical to watch!  So sneaky!  I loved it!  Not one to miss out on a photo-op I told him to kiss his brother's cheek while sneaking some of Chris's goldfish.  Voila!  The outcome was Liz's favorite photo:

Lucas 16 Months

These photos have been patiently waiting to be posted for quite some time now.  It has been forever since I last blogged.  Lucas's hair has grown out so much since I took these.  He has more teeth, more words, and more skills (like climbing anything and everything, ACK!)  But I am committed to posting more blog entries. So stay tuned, I have lots to share :)!
