Taking a Country Drive

Look at this little gem of a scene my husband and I stumbled upon.  Early evening is a great time to catch a glimpse of deer.  I have seen deer out and about all of my life, yet the sight of them still turns me into a giddy, squealing kid, "A DEEEEAAAAAR!!!!!!!!"  I love how you can see the deer's warm breath escaping into the brisk fall evening.  I was so thankful that I decided to drag my zoom lens out with me.  Usually it is so bulky and cumbersom that I leave it at home.  That little baby is going to have come more places with me from now on!

Tana

This darling little tow-head is my niece, Tana.  I affectionately refer to her as Tana-Banana.  She has the cheesiest smile that lights up a room.  With that blonde hair and blue eyes she is going to be a stunning beauty when she grows up.  Watch out Dad!

Christmas Photos

Here are Madeleine's Christmas photos from our fall photo shoot the other day.  I swear she looked just like an American Girl Doll in her traditional holiday dress, black coat, and my scarf.  Her face lit up when I told her this.  Every young girl's dream to hear they look like an American Girl Doll I guesss!  I can't wait to get started on our Christmas cards now that I have some festive holiday photos of the kids.  Her top teeth are finally making an appearance!  This past year she lost seven teeth back-to-back.  We had toothless photos for what seemed like an eternity.  It is great to finally see some teeth!

Fall Is In Full Swing!

Yesterday Madeleine and I went out for a fall photo shoot.  The colors are just to die for right now and the golden light creates amazing pictures.  I think we got her Christmas card photo.  She had a ball climbing the trees, which consequently gave me ample photo-ops!  So much fun!  I will posted  more shots from our shoot soon.
