Bella at Four Months

Remember this sweet little girl from here and here?  Here she is at four months.  Mom and Dad wanted some updated shots for her baptism reception.  Mom had a vision of Bella laying in the grass, very rustic.  But Bella had a different plan.  There were so many things to see outdoors!  She had zero interest in looking at the camera.  We went to great lengths to get her to look at us.  I think everyone who walked by the of  us was pretty entertained by all of our goofy antics.  Dancing, jumping, singing, ringing bells, you name it and we did it.  Public humiliation is all part of the job :)!  But Mom and I had a great workout and lots of laughs!

Here is the baptism invite I created for the family:

This was the front flap.  Inside the card were baptism and reception details & another photo.

Jeremy, Teisha, & Julian Part 2

Here are the photos from our fun May photoshoot.  We got so lucky with this shoot!  It poured all day (that lovely La Nina weather system again!) and then cleared up about ten minutes before our shoot.  Bless the weather gods!!
As you can see from some of these photos Jeremy has one of those larger than life personalities (which I happen to love, especially on a photoshoot).  Not a dull moment with this family!  He would spontaneously break out in dance or pose and Teisha would say, "Jeremy!  This is not a BET video!"  So endearing to see the sun loving dynamics of their relationship.  By the end of our shoot my cheeks hurt from laughing so hard.  Even Teisha's sister, Issa joined us for some photos with Julian.  Such a joy to meet one of Teisha's three siblings!  Issa was just as lively and was the perfect addition to our mix.

Sigh, I am so in L.O.V.E.

Jeremy, Teisha, & Julian

This is one of those wonderful stories where we started out as photographer/client, but became friends.  They are a lovely couple (they started dating when they were 14!!!) and amzing parents.  Jeremy went to each of Teisha's OB appointments when she was pregnant with Julian with a list of medical questions for the doctor and researched every piece of baby equipment under the sun.  How sweet and caring is that?!?  And Teisha?  I don't think I have ever met a mother more in love with her child.  She is literally over the moon for this adorable little man.
This first set of shots is from my shoot with Teisha and Julian in April.  I thought I had posted them already, but after some searching discovered they are only on my Facebook account!  Aaack!  The photos from my family session with them will be in a following post.

Ilene, Amy, & Reagan Part 2

For this part of the shoot we visited the San Francisco Creamery.  Such a fun place!!  I am seriously considering having a birthday party there for one of my kiddos.  The menu and ice cream selection, to die for.
We were all excited to see Reagan's reaction to her milkshake, banana split, and overflowing sundae.  The sundae was huge, oozing with chocolate and whipping cream.  De-lish!  Her reaction to the cherry was classic.  Total sour-face! Reagan got full pretty quickly so the rest of us enjoyed her left-overs.
This was my favorite part of the shoot.  I got to hang out and just capture Reagan and Mommy sharing a special moment over ice cream.  And with the distraction of so many tastey options I ceased to exist and was able to capture a lot of fun and quirky facial expressions on Reagan.
