The Mercury Alliance Team

Last week I had the pleasure of doing a photoshoot for Jon Foster and his team at Mercury Alliance.  Jon wanted a team photo for the website.  You can view the webpage and picture here.  We shot the photos at noon with no available shade in sight (ACK!)  But the house we shot at had an amazing view.  AMAZING!  It had rained the day before and there was not a speck of smog in sight.  Love days like that!  And the Mercury Alliance team?  So much fun!!  An ease in front of the camera and warm personalities made taking their picture a breeze.  I really enjoyed meeting you all and hope to work with you in the future!  Thank you again!

Bella and Colton

Bella is a budding actress and model.  She has quite a lengthy resume for a seven year old.  Colton is an aspiring police officer, and has had his fair share in the limelight as well.  Together they make quite the pair!  Boundless energy and an ease in front of the camera.  It helps that Mom always has a camera ready in-hand for those great photo ops that come her way!  These two charmers were a blast to photograph.  Thanks again!

Truly, Madly, Deeply

Eddie popped the question to Anne Marie over the summer and I could not wait to shoot their engagement photos.  There is nothing like a couple in love.  It is such a joy to watch them in this phase of their life and relationship.  What a joy to capture the love Anne and Eddie share as they plan their future together!

And off they went, hand in hand, into the sunset:

Catch Up

It has been quite a while since I blogged.  The time just seemed to get away from me.  Between the kids and hubby, shooting pictures/editing, my classes, maintaining a household, and chasing after two crazy dogs free time has been something of a luxury these days.  I have so many photos and sessions I am eager to share.  This time away from my blog has reminded how much joy I get from sharing my sessions and adventures with you.  Therefore I have decided to squirrel away some time each week to post.  Since it is too late for a New Year's resolution I guess it will have to be turning over a new leaf instead.  Here are some photos of Lucas at ten months.  Just to show how behind I am in posting, he is now thirteen months!

Pouty face!  Luke decided he was not a fan of sitting in the middle of weeds.

Notice the obsession with his shoes?  This was the first time Luke was wearing "real" shoes.  Lesson learned, do not try something new (ie. shoes!) during a photoshoot!

The Collins Girls

I have known these girls for over twenty years.  Hard to believe it has been that long.  Liz and I met in middle school and, well, the rest is history.  Life-long friends, one of the benefits of growing up in a small, close-knit community.  These sisters have a remarkable bond, something I really admire in them.  They have been there for one another through life's ups and downs.  All three are now officially "grown-ups", married with children.  I am so proud of the families they have established.  Watching them gives me a perma-grin on my face and a warm n' fuzzy feeling in my stomach.  Over Thanksgiving all of the girls and their families were in town.  This was no small fete.  One lives in Brazil, another in Colorado!  Because everyone was in the same place at the same time, we thought this would a be a great opportunity to shoot some photos of the kids, the girls, and their families.  With all of the kids, naptime fast approaching, and a Collins Girls dinner party that day, the shoot was controlled chaos.  But it was so much fun!  I only wished we had more time so I could have captured more images.  My mind raced with all of the photograph possibilities!
The newest addition, Baby Gabriel.  Oh what a doll!  Mom and Dad are simply glowing with the euphoria of parenthood.  Sigh....so sweet!
My dear Lizzie and two of her three fab men.  Man number one, her hubby was helping to corral the other wee ones when we shot this keeper!
Princess Delaney, the only girl in the bunch.  She looks like a little doll!
So cute to watch Steven's reaction to a kiss from his little bro'.
Aiden and Steven had a GQ moment.   I could have died!  They leaned up against a tree and hammed it up for the camera.
Chris was full of priceless expressions that day.  So many to capture!  I thought a story board would be the perfect showcase for all of his sweet, campy looks.
